Long time, no blog, I know. Thanks for still following! I’ve been mighty busy over the last few months and haven’t really had the time to update this blog which, well, sucks. Hopefully you’ve been getting your Claire fix elsewhere.
A few things have happened since I was last here, let me update you (or just recap what you already know);
Claire has a new stand-up show called ‘The Work’. It had it’s run at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and at the Sydney Comedy Festival. I’m not too sure where else it’s touring/if there are more shows.
Good News Week said its final goodbyes with two shows at the MICF. Channel Ten aired the final episode (which was taped first), but for some stupid reason they decided not to air the second last episode (which was taped second), but they should be putting it on the website.
Claire is still working the early mornings with breakfast radio in Sydney. Listen to it HERE.
There were marriage equality rallies held on the weekend around Australia. Claire spoke at the rally in Sydney (if anyone has footage of that, please let me know!).
And lastly, I was lucky enough to not only see both GNW episodes filmed, I also saw Claire’s show, spoke to her during the show, made her laugh (!), met her afterwards, and got a photo!
So that’s what has been happening.
(and I know that last thing isn’t really important or relevant like, at all. But meeting Claire was a very, very, very big moment for me and it was awesome.)
